Dr. Mohamed Ahmed is a highly accomplished executive specializing in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a strong background in higher education, government relations, community relations, international relations, non-profit leadership, and public safety, Dr. Ahmed brings extensive experience and expertise to his role. Dr. Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Leadership from Old Dominion University, a Bachelor's degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution, and a Master's degree in Postsecondary Educational Leadership from San Diego State University. His educational background and qualifications contribute to his wealth of knowledge and effective leadership skills. Currently, Dr. Ahmed serves as the Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) at Alliant International University. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the institution's strategic plan and promoting inclusive excellence. Dr. Ahmed leads innovative programs and initiatives across Alliant University's system, which encompasses campuses in San Diego, Los Angeles, Irvine, Fresno, Sacramento, San Francisco, Phoenix, and international campuses. Moreover, Dr. Ahmed plays a crucial role in driving DEI efforts at Bertelsmann, Alliant’s parent company, a multinational media conglomerate operating in over 50 countries with more than 100,000 employees and revenue exceeding 17 billion euros. Through his leadership, Dr. Ahmed supports Bertelsmann's diversity recruitment, retention efforts, and corporate social responsibility. Prior to his current role, Dr. Ahmed served as the Associate Chief Diversity Officer at San Diego State University (SDSU). During his tenure, he facilitated the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and programs focused on fostering a more inclusive and diverse campus community. Dr. Ahmed's leadership contributed to innovative approaches to enhancing student success, diversifying faculty and staff recruitment, expanding university training seminars on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and improving community engagement and relations. Beyond his work in higher education, Dr. Ahmed possesses extensive experience working with diverse communities on various issues, including civic engagement, public safety, and diplomacy. Previously, he held the position of Senior Community Engagement Coordinator for the Department of Homeland Security – Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships. In this role, he collaborated closely with community organizations, educational institutions, and local agencies to provide training on prevention and intervention in targeted violence. Dr. Ahmed is regarded as an expert in domestic extremist movements and has published numerous research papers supporting best practices for enhancing public awareness and prevention. Additionally, he serves as a professor of practice, teaching graduate courses in Ideological, Political, and Environmental Conflict in the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University. Dr. Ahmed also acts as an American Subject Matter Expert for the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs' International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). In this capacity, he engages international audiences on topics of strategic importance to the United States. He has supported U.S. Embassies on diplomatic missions in countries such as Algeria, Germany, Kenya, Denmark, Belgium, Somalia, and others. Over the past decade, Dr. Ahmed has emerged as a prominent voice in business and civic circles, providing guidance to local, national, and international organizations on matters related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, community engagement, civic engagement, and public safety. He has served on several boards and commissions, including the City of San Diego Commission on Gang Prevention and Intervention, the San Diego District Attorney's Interfaith Advisory Board, One World Strong Foundation, among others. Dr. Ahmed's leadership has been recognized through numerous honors and awards, including the National Diversity Council DEI Champion, The Inclusion Lab's Top Inclusive Leader Award, the United States Attorney Local Hero Award, the City of San Diego Ashley L. Walker Social Justice Award, and the Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs – Diplomatic Leadership Award.

Julia Hodum is a Senior DEI Business Partner at DoorDash, where she leads DEI strategy and initiatives for DoorDash's Tech workforce. Prior to this role, she was a DEI leader at The Walt Disney Company, Schindler Elevator Corporation, and IHG Hotels & Resorts. She has advised senior executives across a range of industries, developed and expanded the global impact of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and embedded DEI best practices into a range of HR processes, policies, and employee benefits. Prior to her formal roles in DEI, she led change as an ERG founder and leader at both Accenture and IHG Hotels & Resorts. The Georgia Diversity Council recognized her contributions to the Atlanta business community with the 2017 Young Leader in Diversity & Inclusion Award. She also held an internship at the White House supporting constituents under President Obama. Julia holds a BA in International Studies from American University and an MBA from Georgia Tech. She currently lives outside of New York City with her husband and two young children. Outside of work, she volunteers with AFS Intercultural Exchange Programs and loves international travel, outdoor adventures, and house projects, including renovating her 1880s farmhouse and painting it pink.

Stacye McCall is the Assistant Vice President, Deputy Diversity Officer, and Equal Employment Opportunity Deputy Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (FRBA). She has strategic oversight for the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives and programs at the Bank, which has over 1700 staff. Stacye implements short-term and long-term DE&I programs into the Bank’s culture and provides guidance and direction to 10 Employee Resource Networks, DE&I Ambassadors, and divisional DE&I partners. She leads the coordination of internal and external DE&I communication and works in tandem with external consultants to build DE&I educational programs for all levels of the organization. Stacye has been a DE&I leader for the Bank for over 10 years and supports district people leaders in the development and implementation of district inclusive strategies. Stacye is a certified diversity executive (CDE) having completed all requirements for the Institute for Diversity Certification in 2023. Stacye is also a certified Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator and Interpreter, with a vision to increase capacity to better understand culture and to develop culturally responsive strategies when engaging across difference. Stacye has completed the Dale Carnegie’s 12-week Effective Communications & Human Relations Course. Stacye is a graduate of the American Institute for Managing Diversity, Diversity Leadership Academy (DLA). DLA is a five-month, community-based, senior leadership development program that provides strategic diversity management leadership skills to business, civic, and community leaders. Stacye also completed the United Way Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP), which trains and positions minority candidates for non-profit board service. Stacye has served on the board of the Atlanta Diversity Management Advocacy Group (ADMAG) since 2011, serving as Chair in 2014-2016, and 2020-2021. ADMAG is a non-profit, think tank, that is comprised of diversity professionals from large employers and other entities in the Atlanta area who meet every other month to share best practices, network and discuss ongoing diversity issues. ADMAG hosts six diversity events annually on varying DE&I topicsto the over 300+ members of ADMAG. Stacye hasserved as a mentor/coach to young adults through the Spelman University/Coca-Cola Mentoring Partnership and through the Path Builders Mentoring Program. Stacye is also a trained facilitator on race relationsthrough the YWCA racial justice program and serves on the Greater Atlanta YWCA planning committee for their annual Conversations event on race. In June 2015, Stacye was named, by DiversityMBA Magazine, as one of the top 50 emerging leaders under 50. Stacye has worked for the FRBA for over 20 years. Whether working directly or indirectly in DE&I, Stacye is known for driving diversity, equity, and inclusion in alignment with the Bank’s overall strategy. Stacye received the Bank’s highest honor, the President’s Award for Excellence in 2015, for her significant contributions to the success of the Bank and for her passionate and thoughtful advocacy of DE&I. Prior to working for the Federal Reserve Bank, Stacye worked in multiple industries including hospitality, food service, and financial services. Stacye earned her MBA from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida and her BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Stacye is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; a 100+ year-old non-profit, public service organization. Stacye is a native of San Antonio, Texas and is a former scholarship athlete that has been inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at her alma mater, Stephen F. Austin State University. Stacye and her husband Byron have been married for over 20 years; they have a son, Kameron (18) and a daughter, Shelby (15).
